It's a tough decision to seek therapy, and many people don't know what to expect. Perhaps you have been struggling for some time and have tried to manage it yourself — but you're at a point where you are noticing the impact these feelings have had at work, with the kids, or in your marriage. You might be experiencing panic, or a sense of being out of control. Maybe you've noticed that you can't concentrate the way you used to, and you've lost interest in the things you used to love.
Being able to talk through these challenges with a trusted professional can help you to find your way back. I offer therapeutic support to people who are struggling with their mental health, including those experiencing a sense of disconnection from their family, friends and community.
I know that difficulties in family and other relationships can sometimes come from early experiences that have left you feeling lonely, isolated, and betrayed. In adulthood, this can lead to problems with anger, alcohol, relationships and many other things. Together, we can work to untangle these feelings and experiences, and start to make sense of them.
I currently have availability in Caulfield and Scoresby.
